As a full-time FP&A Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of our financial statements. This includes the completeness of expenses, tracking headcount, and reviewing purchase orders. This role will assist in both actual and forecasting activities to provide clear guidance to Senior Management on expense performance. This role will be part of a fast growing Finance team and will be reporting to the Director of FP&A. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded and resourceful top performer who understands how to drive initiatives across the finish line in a timely and professional manner in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Learning about FP&A and building out a strong skill set to support a fast-paced, high-growth SAAS company.
- Tracking expenses and providing ad-hoc analysis supporting Business Leaders in G&A.
- Learning to use Adaptive Insights Planning and assisting with maintaining and improving our corporate financial model.
- Assist with month-end close activities to ensure completeness of expenses through engagement with Business Owners/Finance/Accounting.
- Compile and analyze financial reports to understand variances and bring discrepancies to management's attention.
- Partnering with Accounting to drive improvement in financial/operational processes.
- Implement new processes and procedures leveraging current tools to increase productivity and accuracy.
- Assist with building financial models that support operational growth and highlight key financial metrics.
Who You Are:
- A highly motivated individual with the willingness and ability to step in and learn how to provide high-quality of support (Ad-hoc Analysis, Expense Management) for our business leaders. An individual with an interest/skillset in analysis (Excel, BI tools, etc) that does not shy away from jumping into large data sets and is able to clearly communicate (Google Slides, Presentations, etc) key insights into financial outcomes for business leaders.
- 1-3 years of related work experience
- BA/BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial statements
- Familiarity with financial reporting and financial modeling
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn financial software applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
$81,000 - $92,000 a year The base salary range is specific to the United States. The salary of the final candidate selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, work location, specialty, and training. If the final candidate has a different level of experience, the base salary target range may be lower or higher than what is published. #LI-RB1 #LI-Remote
