The Role If you’re looking to start and grow your career in a challenging, dynamic, innovative environment, you’ve come to the right place. Veeva’s Sales Development Program (SDP) is a rigorous, comprehensive track dedicated to developing talents into industry-leading Account Partners. Ultimately, our teams generate opportunities and build relationships with the world’s leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies. We believe that to best serve our customers in this capacity it’s important to deeply understand Veeva’s products, the industry, and consulting and sales skills. As the Sales Development Representative (SDR) for Veeva, you will be evangelizing Veeva to pharma companies in Europe. Your responsibilities include marketing plans, generating and qualifying opportunities, collaborating with many internal and external stakeholders, and developing into an expert on Products, Industry Processes, and Culture. This is not a normal sales development role! During the program, you will be responsible for the full sales process and be exposed to continuous opportunities. What You'll Do
- Gain expertise in consulting, product, industry, and sales to become an industry-leading Account Partner
- Learn and executive a consultative sales methodology
- Work within a defined territory to generate and qualify new leads and opportunities
- Research and develop a plan for breaking into your assigned accounts
- Partner closely with sales teams to advance and close your opportunities over time
- Build trusted relationships with customers, understand their needs, and recommend the right Veeva products and solutions
- Rapidly develop your sales skills on the job and through training and events
Requirements
- 2+ years of professional experience
- Experience in Sales development in Technology and/or Life Sciences
- Full business language capacity in English
- Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Team-first mentality with proven success
- Self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative
- BA or BS Degree (STEM, Economics, Accounting, etc.) with solid academic performance
- Willingness to travel as needed (~25%)
- Legally authorized to be employed in the UK without limitations or restrictions
Nice to Have
- Experience in Consulting, Customer Success, or Project Management
- Experience managing a full sales cycle
- Experience in scientific research or in clinical trials-related topics
- Business language capacity in Danish and/or Swedish - any other language is a plus
