The Netflix Employee Health team (comprised of Medical, Wellbeing, & Leave of Absence & Accommodations (LOAA), and Accessibility) sets out to enable sustained high performance by cultivating the right conditions for our colleagues to perform at their best in a rapidly changing and evolving environment. We are seeking a Program Manager to support our team. The person in this role will assist and manage multiple projects simultaneously, successfully navigate a complex, globally matrixed organization, build and maintain close relationships with internal stakeholders, and serve as a thought partner. They will help drive cross-functional projects and work on various strategic, advisory, and administrative tasks in relation to medical, wellbeing, LOAA, and accessibility support. Prior experience in a corporate setting is a must. This is not a clinical care delivery role although clinical experience is highly preferred. This position can be remote but will ideally be based out of a USA office location (Los Angeles, Los Gatos, New York, or Washington DC).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Program Management
- Effectively interact and communicate with a wide range of external and internal stakeholders
- Fully own end-to-end execution and day-to-day program management of Employee Health initiatives to successful completion
- Own all meeting logistics for initiatives (Scheduling, team meetings, agenda support/creation, reporting, communication, note-taking)
- Lead agile project management workflows and buildout of project schedules
- Proactively manage tracking of all project activities to ensure deliverables are completed on time, risks are flagged, and key milestones are achieved
- Manage tracking of project budget and all associated spending
- Responsible for all communications regarding initiatives (Team meetings, memos, etc)
- Operations
- Partner cross-functionally with teams to strategically scale initiatives
- Own contracting process with vendors (medical and occupational health vendors, contractors, and consultants), including supporting the development of MSA and SOWs, in partnership with team lead
- Support global budget and spend tracking
- Accurately track/analyze employee health data to evaluate the effectiveness of the evolving strategy and the ability to storytell with data learnings
- Portfolio Management and Communications
- Lead the development of scientific communications (written and oral) for diverse audiences
- Act as a resource for issues affecting the workplace such as disease outbreaks, mental health/wellbeing issues, and return to work assistance.
- Assist with drafting policies, procedures, and standards for key stakeholders
- Support workplace incident investigations and reporting of potential OSHA recordable cases
- Conduct health-related research and literature reviews
- Serve as point of escalation for employee health questions
Minimum qualifications:
- Requirements for the Role:
- 5+ years experience in Program Management within an Employee and/or Occupational Health Function within a corporate setting
- Proven track record of success at the program manager level with the following: health promotion programming, benefit programs, occupational/employee health clinics, public health/preventive medicine/OSHA programs, wellbeing programs, leave of absence/disability clinical case reviewer/manager, or other corporate health programs
- Demonstrates the following characteristics in a dynamic work environment: Positive attitude, detail-oriented, resourceful, team-oriented, hands-on, adaptive, strong work ethic, client/employee-focused, agile, self-starter, strong communicator
- Strong memo writing skills (for the corporate environment)
- Must possess strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and creative skills
- Good understanding of epidemiological principles, study design, and biostatistics
- Proficient with Google Office Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.) and program management tools (ex: Asana)
Bonus qualifications:
- COHN or other occupational health certification
- MPH, MHA, or other related health degree
- Consulting experience
- Clinical experience
- PMP certification
Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $170,000 - $420,000. Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits. We also offer paid leave of absence programs. Full-time hourly employees accrue 35 days annually for paid time off to be used for vacation, holidays, and sick paid time off.
