About the Role: As the Sr. Inventory Management Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our inventory levels are optimized to meet customer demand while minimizing excess and obsolete stock. You will analyze inventory data, forecast kitting demand, and develop strategies to improve efficiency within our supply chain. Your goal will be to maintain an effective inventory management system that supports IPSY’s operational and financial objectives. This role is highly collaborative and will work closely with Warehouse Operations, Procurement, Accounting, Merchandising, and Product Management / Engineering teams, using strong interpersonal skills and cross-functional collaboration to influence decision-making.
This is an on site role that reports to the Director of Inventory Control, QA and Inbound and is based in our distribution center in Harrisburg, North Carolina (a suburb of Charlotte). What You’ll Be Doing: - Inventory Optimization : Monitor and analyze inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability, reducing costs associated with overstock and stockouts.
- Inventory Balancing : Work with the 3PL to place inventory transfers to support monthly kitting demand without disruption within the monthly transfer order budget.
- Demand Forecasting : Utilize historical data, market trends, and sales projections to forecast future inventory needs and ensure product availability.
- Data Analysis and Reporting : Generate and interpret detailed inventory reports to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement. Present findings to senior management.
- Supply Chain Coordination : Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, and Planning teams to align inventory strategy with overall supply chain goals.
- Systems Management : Oversee the implementation and use of inventory management software, ensuring data integrity and system optimization.
- Process Improvement : Develop and implement process improvements to enhance inventory accuracy and reduce lead times.
- Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risks associated with inventory and ensure inventory balancing supports the production plan without disruption.
- Budget Management : Monitor inventory-related expenses and work to stay within budgetary constraints.
What We are Looking For: - Education : Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., APICS, CPIM) preferred.
- Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in inventory management, preferably within the cosmetics or consumer goods industry.
- Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a deep understanding of inventory metrics and KPIs.
- Technical Proficiency : Proficient with inventory management software and advanced Excel skills. Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data-driven insights to stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy and attention to detail is critical.
- Adaptability : Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
Bonus if You Have: - Multi-system experience with Softeon, Netsuite, Google Docs, Databricks
- Analytical experience with SQL and heavy spreadsheets
- Experience with 3PLs
- eCommerce inventory, subscription, or kitting experience

Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 USD Pay is based on several non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education, skills, and location. IPSY offers a bonus, equity grants, and competitive benefits. Final compensation is determined by experience and skills.
