Job Description

We are seeking a HR Generalist to join our team. The HR Generalist will be responsible for various HR functions, including but not limited to, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, managing harassment training, and HR compliance. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and have a comprehensive understanding of HR policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including conducting orientation sessions, processing new hire paperwork, and facilitating training.
    • Conduct offboarding procedures for departing employees, including conducting exit interviews, processing termination paperwork, and managing offboarding tasks.
    • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, and other benefits. Provide support to employees with benefits-related inquiries and issues.
    • Manage harassment training programs, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and providing support to employees and managers on harassment-related matters.
    • Manage the open enrollment process for employee benefits, including coordinating communication, providing assistance to employees, and supporting file feeds for providers.
    • Ensure compliance with HR laws and regulations, including FMLA, FLSA, and EEOC regulations. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HRIS.
    • Assist with performance management processes.
    • Support bonus administration, including calculation and distribution.
    • Assist with HR projects and initiatives, including HR process improvements.
    • Analyze pivotal HR metrics, such as turnover rates, to provide actionable insights for shaping HR strategies and decision-making.
    • Provide support to managers and employees on HR-related inquiries and issues.
    • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive HR information with discretion.
    • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; review policies and practices to maintain compliance.
    • Stay informed about trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
