Job Description
We are looking for a Product Manager to work with a cross discipline squad as part of the Curation PA. . You will work on strategies to increase users investment through saving and building their personal collections,, identifying opportunities to improve the lives of hundreds of millions of users every day. This is a highly collaborative role working with teams from across the organization to ensure these experiences serve the needs of users, creators & Spotify. Your work will be used by and impact the lives of millions of people around the world. You’ll partner with a cross-disciplinary set of folks across the globe, working in a fast-paced environment, and hopefully have a lot of fun along the way.
What You'll Do
- Drive alignment around a range of new and innovative strategies for example the saving strategy and maximizing the value of much loved products such as Liked songs.
- Collaborate with a range of Stakeholders and bets by leading as a partner, ensuring the your strategies delivers value while supporting the company vision and goals
- Define and drive a product vision, strategy and metrics for this core experience, and galvanize your team and others to follow you
- Work in a cross-discipline team alongside a designer, engineering manager and several engineers
- Use data to make decisions and work alongside the product insights team to inform all stages of the process
- Prioritize a long-term product roadmap based on a healthy balance of innovation, reducing technical debt and maintenance and support
Who You Are
- You have experience of product management for a major consumer-facing proposition
- You have experience working in a cross-discipline agile team with a designer and several engineers
- You have looked after a large complex product, and so are familiar with prioritizing competing priorities, along with maintenance and improvements
- You are experienced with data-informed product development and have deep knowledge of AB testing methods
- You are an excellent communicator and storyteller, communicating concepts and ideas to stakeholders at all levels, in different shapes depending on the context
- You know how to influence decision-making in others, in a variety of contexts, with empathy and sensitivity
- You have worked in a larger tech organization with many teams collaborating with shared dependencies
- You are good at sorting out ambiguity
- You have high standards for yourself and others
- You never hesitate to roll up your sleeves and take on something hands-on, you persevere when others fall away
Where You'll Be
- We are a distributed workforce enabling our band members to find a work mode that is best for them!
- Where in the world? This role will ideally be located in the UK, Sweden or potentially one of our other EMEA locations *excluding Germany and France for now due to on call restrictions
- Working hours? We operate within the Central European and GMT time zones for collaboration and ask that all be located in that time zone.
