Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic leader to join our team as the Head of Oncology, Transplant and Rare Diseases (OTR) Business Unit in Belgium. This role is pivotal in providing strategic and operational direction to our Sales and Marketing teams, ensuring the successful execution of product strategies to maximize patient and customer benefits, and optimizing the value of our OTR products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic & Operational Leadership:
- Lead the creation and execution of marketing and sales plans.
- Align Belgian strategies with global and regional brand strategies.
- Address and monitor Belgian marketing issues and needs.
- Commercial Performance:
- Deliver Belgian Commercial P&L goals and financial KPIs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Oversee business alliances and lifecycle management of brands.
- Team Management:
- Motivate and develop the Sales and Marketing team.
- Set annual sales targets and review progress.
- Ensure team members are well-trained and informed.
- Compliance and HR Management:
- Ensure compliance with Takeda’s Code of Conduct and country Promotional Code.
- Manage HR-related issues, including recruitment, appraisal, and performance reviews.
- Foster a culture of accountability and integrity.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science, Business Administration, or similar (Master’s preferred).
- At least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with significant leadership experience.
- Proven success in regional sales management and/or brand/product management.
- Experience in Oncology, Transplant, and Rare Diseases preferred.
- Strong financial acumen and P&L management experience.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French and/or Flemish is an asset.

Additional Information:
- This role requires domestic travel for sales and marketing activities, team coaching, and key account visits.
- Occasional international travel for business meetings and corporate events.
- A full driver’s license is required.
