The Opportunity

As an ERP SAP Engagement Lead, you will be entrusted with leading and managing the deployment of major global transformation projects in growth emerging markets. You will facilitate communication between leadership and project management teams while coordinating and prioritizing project demands.

Responsibilities

  • Comprehend regional objectives, Data, Digital, and Technology (DD&T) strategies, and assess customer satisfaction with ERP services.
  • Collaborate with countries in growth emerging markets to manage and strategize the multi-year ERP Product Roadmap and the annual Release Calendar.
  • Build and sustain effective and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across various business units.
  • Direct and coordinate the execution of significant global ERP initiatives.
  • Oversee and facilitate continuous improvement efforts, working in conjunction with the ERP Demand & Release manager.
  • Supervise SAP service modifications, infrastructure upgrades, and ensure seamless operational collaborations.
  • Promote ongoing improvement initiatives using performance metrics and feedback within the IT service management framework.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the ERP organization in your region, overseeing communication and implementation of the ERP roadmap and related projects.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for ERP service implementation, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budget.
  • Foster and maintain strong collaborative relationships with regional executives, CFOs, plant managers, and other leadership figures.
  • Supervise the ERP Service Management team to ensure efficient service delivery and operations.
  • Monitor and manage incidents and problems, ensuring prompt resolution to minimize disruptions to business activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; a master’s degree is preferred.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in senior management roles overseeing ERP transformation projects and programs. Experience in consulting is a plus.
  • Proven project management expertise in agile and global settings.
  • Strong skills in managing business relationships.
  • Ability to effectively engage and connect with local management and stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding and experience with validated systems, especially within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Competence in managing complex IT landscapes toward global standardization, with the ability to balance IT and business objectives.
  • Skilled in setting priorities, aligning expectations with stakeholders, and creating and implementing actionable plans.
  • Experience working with global virtual teams, and the ability to adapt to different cultures, work styles, and communication methods.
  • Proficient in English with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Salary

As a motivated employee, you should be compensated appropriately. The minimum salary for this position is €6500 per month (full time), but your final remuneration package may be higher depending on your qualifications and experience.
