Licensed Practical Nurse to work primarily in PET/Nuclear Medicine. WORK SCHEDULE Full-time, 100% FTE (40 hours per week)

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
All of UW Medicine’s radiologists are board-certified and specialize in a variety of areas such as neuroradiology, body radiology, interventional radiology, musculoskeletal radiology, ultrasound, nuclear medicine, mammography and chest radiology. Imaging findings are integrated with all clinical data to generate comprehensive and actionable patient assessments
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Room patients, take vital signs, and reconcile records
IV placement and removal for CT and MRI patients with the possibility of high contrast screening mammography
Prepare and clean exam rooms
Patient education (pre/post scan)
Recognize symptoms of common medical illnesses and accurately report to provider
Assess patients following extravasations
Assist in transporting patients as required
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Current license to practice as a practical nurse in the State of Washington
